As Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, providing high-quality tax compliance and advisory services, and supporting junior members of the team. The role offers a strong mix of technical work, client interaction, and leadership responsibility.

Tax Manager – Key Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients
• Reviewing personal tax returns, corporation tax computations, and filings
• Providing tax planning and advisory support to owner-managed businesses and individuals
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients on tax-related matters
• Managing and mentoring junior tax staff, including reviewing work and providing training
• Liaising with HMRC and dealing with enquiries as required
• Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and best practice

• Proven experience working in an accountancy practice environment
• Strong technical knowledge of UK tax, particularly personal and corporation tax
