Job description

To assist with the timely and effective completion of tax projects such as corporate reorganisations, employee share incentives, and incorporations, among others. Implementing agreed strategies to reduce tax liabilities and identify further tax mitigation opportunities. Assisting with the completion of various project phases in line with detailed project plans, including timelines and deliverables, while ensuring compliance with current tax legislation and ethical standards. Maintaining strong client relationships through clear communication during each project’s lifecycle.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
  • Assist with preparing detailed project plans for each restructure.
  • Assist with project completion, including drafting instructions to solicitors, preparing HMRC filings, and maintaining regular communication with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to strong client relationships through positive interactions with client personnel.
  • Provide accurate financial and tax advice, consulting with other Tax Advisors and Senior Tax Advisors as needed.
  • Deliver company products and services on time and within budget, adhering to internal and statutory deadlines.
  • Handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Offer suggestions for improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, tax, and accounting standards.
  • Maximize revenue, cost savings, and expenditure control.
Required Qualifications / Attributes
  • Solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Broad understanding of key tax matters such as Corporation Tax, Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Stamp Taxes, Inheritance Tax, and Employment Taxes, with a desire to expand knowledge through experience, training, and studying for qualifications.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to self-motivate and respond effectively to clients.
  • High attention to detail and a process-driven approach, utilizing internal checklists for accuracy and consistency.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong client service orientation.
  • ACCA or ATT qualification or equivalent.
  • Keen attitude towards learning and professional growth.
