Placements24 is seeking a versatile HR Generalist with Talent Management expertise for a fast-growing tech startup based near Randburg, Gauteng. You will lead talent acquisition, performance management and employee development initiatives.

You will collaborate with a dynamic team to attract and retain top talent, design HR policies and ensure compliance with SA labor laws, while supporting a remote-friendly and flexible work culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Business or related field.
• 4–6 years HR experience focused on talent acquisition & management.
• Experience in recruitment, performance management, and development.
• Knowledge of SA labor law & HR best practices.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding.
• Design and implement talent acquisition strategies.
• Develop and administer performance management processes.
• Identify development needs and coordinate training and career paths.
• Support succession planning and identify high-potential employees.
• Maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with labor laws.
• Administer benefits programs and respond to inquiries.
• Maintain accurate HR records using HRIS.
