Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join our client’s team on a fully remote basis. You will design, implement, and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent, working closely with HR leadership and finance to align with market trends and company strategy.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in compensation and benefits management.
Strong analytical skills with expertise in salary benchmarking and benefits analysis.
In-depth knowledge of applicable labour laws and regulations (SA) related to C&B.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and advanced Excel for data analysis.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

Administer and manage the company's compensation programs, including salary structures, job evaluations, and incentive plans.
Oversee administration of employee benefits programs (health, retirement, wellness).
Conduct market research and analyse data to ensure competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations pertaining to compensation and benefits.
Develop communication materials to explain programs to employees.
Collaborate with external vendors/consultants for benchmarking and benefits administration.
