Job summary

Carrington Blake Recruitment is seeking a proactive HR Recruitment Coordinator to support the Children & Education Services Target Operating Model implementation. The role focuses on hands-on recruitment coordination, tracking, and onboarding across TOM vacancies.

You will work with a Recruitment Lead, Senior Programme Manager, Business Analysts, and support resources to keep recruitment activity compliant, timely, and accurate, helping to drive transformation milestones.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment administration or recruitment support.
• Experience coordinating recruitment activity in fast-paced environments.
• Experience supporting high-volume recruitment or workforce transformation programmes.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail, especially with offers and pre-employment checks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in a Local Authority or public sector environment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and regularly update the recruitment tracker for TOM vacancies.
• Coordinate recruitment activity and monitor progress against timelines.
• Raise job requisitions using Oracle Fusion.
• Arrange interview panels, coordinate diaries, send invites and book rooms.
• Coordinate communication with recruiting managers and candidates.
• Process offers and progress associated administration.
• Lead and monitor pre-employment checks to ensure timely clearances.
• Escalate delays, risks or issues that may impact timelines.
• Support onboarding arrangements to enable quick starts.
• Ensure recruitment activity is compliant and aligned with HR processes.
