Job summary

United Welsh is seeking a Recruitment and Onboarding Officer to coordinate the end-to-end candidate experience from vacancy approval to probation completion. You will support managers with adverts, shortlisting and interviews, and manage offers and pre‑employment checks while ensuring accurate documentation.

You will create engaging onboarding experiences, own inductions, track milestones, and maintain confidential HRIS/ATS records.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Knowledge of right to work requirements and recruitment compliance.
• Experience using HRIS and ATS systems.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment from vacancy approval to appointment and onboarding from offer to probation completion.
• Assist managers with job descriptions, adverts and assessment methods; manage vacancy advertising and interviews.
• Support candidates and new starters by phone, email and in person, maintaining contact before joining.
• Prepare offers, contracts and pre-employment checks ensuring documentation is complete.
• Arrange onboarding and inductions, providing information and resources for new starters.
• Deliver team inductions and coordinate company-wide induction sessions.
• Track induction and probation milestones; raise concerns to HR Business Partner.
• Maintain HRIS and ATS records; provide first-line troubleshooting.
• Produce reports to highlight delays and missing actions; implement improvements.
