Job summary

Mears Group in Gloucester is seeking a Talent Acquisition Consultant to attract, hire and retain talent across a designated business area. You will partner with hiring managers, provide recruitment support, and ensure a candidate‑centric experience throughout the hiring lifecycle.

The role requires managing multiple live roles, sourcing candidates, posting adverts, and collaborating with the HR function. A Full UK driving licence is desirable, with hybrid working up to two days per week once

Qualifications

• In-house or agency recruitment experience with strong customer service.
• Proactive, takes initiative and owns tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Full UK driving licence desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment for a dedicated business area with ~50 live roles.
• Build relationships with hiring managers and act as main contact for recruitment needs.
• Create optimised job adverts after discovery calls.
• Engage with stakeholders on inclusive hiring standards.
• Post roles on job boards and social platforms to attract diverse talent.
• Source candidates via job boards, social media and sourcing tools.
• Screen applicants against agreed criteria and manage offers.
• Maintain recruitment data in Workday ATS and analyze KPIs.
