Job summary

Mears is seeking a Talent Acquisition Consultant to attract, hire and retain top talent across a designated business area. You will partner with hiring managers, provide recruitment support, and ensure a candidate-centric experience throughout the hiring lifecycle.

Based in Gloucester with hybrid flexibility up to two days per week, the role requires managing multiple live roles, proactive sourcing, thorough screening and smooth offer-to-onboard processes.

Qualifications

• Previous recruitment experience gained in-house or agency.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to use initiative and own tasks.
• Experience with ATS systems (Workday desirable).

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for a dedicated business area with over 50 live roles.
• Build relationships with hiring managers as the first recruitment contact.
• Conduct discovery calls to understand vacancies and craft optimised job adverts.
• Source candidates via job boards, social media and smart sourcing.
• Screen applicants against agreed criteria.
• Manage offers and compliance process.
• Maintain recruitment administration in Workday ATS.
• Analyse recruitment data and KPIs.
• Visit branches nationwide to understand local recruitment needs.
• Promote Mears as an employer of choice.
