Job summary

Jayne Peirce is seeking an experienced Travel Specialist to create and sell tailor-made holidays, handling enquiries from first contact through to confirmed bookings.

You will design complex itineraries, coordinate with DMCs and suppliers, and use destination knowledge to tailor hotels, tours and experiences while ensuring accurate, well-managed bookings and strong client care.

Responsibilities

• Designing, costing and selling tailor-made holidays, including complex multi-centre trips.
• Looking after clients from the first consultation right through to departure.
• Working with DMCs, direct suppliers and industry partners to put together high-quality itineraries at the right price.
• Using your destination knowledge to recommend the right hotels, touring, experiences and travel arrangements.
• Preparing quotes and proposals, and following up enquiries so they turn into bookings.
• Building lasting relationships with clients who come back year after year.
• Making sure every booking is accurate and well managed.

Our client is a respected tailor-made travel company. They're looking for an experienced Travel Specialist to join their team and design and sell individual, carefully planned holidays.

This role suits someone who loves building itineraries from scratch and knows their destinations well. You should be happy to take an enquiry from the first conversation through to a confirmed booking. You'll work closely with clients, DMCs and a well-established supplier network, and personal service runs through everything the team does.

First-hand knowledge of Asia, Sri Lanka, South Africa, the Caribbean, Indian Ocean or South America would also go down very well.
