Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer for our hybrid role in Winnersh/Wokingham. You will contribute to the development of training devices, work within a matrix team, and help mature requirements through procurement cycles.

The role requires a relevant degree, SE experience, and the ability to obtain security clearance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure quality through clear specifications, and support environmental, health and safety initiatives while

Qualifications

• Requires a relevant degree or equivalent training.
• Experience with systems engineering, ideally on all elements of the V-model.
• Knowledge of SE standards, principles and techniques.
• Experience writing scopes of work and acceptance criteria.
• Knowledge of development of Systems of Systems.
• Able to work in a collaborative, multi-discipline environment.
• Hands-on experience with configuration management tools.
• Security clearance or ability to obtain it.
• Able to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Define work packages and technical requirements with the Solution Architect.
• Contribute to execution and delivery of key work packages.
• Develop product specifications and qualification criteria.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for procurement and implementation of training devices.
• Contribute to problem resolution at team level.
• Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes and procedures.
• Champion Environmental, Health and Safety compliance and continuous improvement.
