Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in Winnersh. The role spans the full lifecycle, from requirements through to acceptance, with a background in defence training systems or training development preferred.

You will balance technical oversight with project delivery in a matrix environment. The position is primarily home-based but travel to support internal and customer meetings is required up to 25%.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree or equivalent training.
• Strong experience in systems engineering, ideally on all elements of the V-model.
• Experience with systems engineering standards and acceptance criteria.
• Knowledge of Systems of Systems and cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% with a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Define work packages and technical requirements with Solution Architect.
• Deliver key work packages and contribute to product specification.
• Collaborate on procurement and implementation of training devices.
• Maintain system documentation and support environmental, health and safety needs.
• Support problem resolution and continuous improvement.
