Job summary

Raytheon UK seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to develop training devices and manage requirements through to acceptance. The role suits an engineer with defence experience and a flexible approach to work contexts.

Responsibilities include defining technical requirements, delivering key work packages, and generating documentation. Security clearance may be required; travel up to 25% should be anticipated.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in systems engineering, ideally on all elements of the V-model.
• Experience with systems engineering technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
• Experience writing scopes of work and acceptance criteria.
• Knowledge of development of Systems of Systems.
• Hands-on experience with configuration management tools.

Responsibilities

• Define work packages and technical requirements with the Solution Architect.
• Contribute to the execution and delivery of key work packages.
• Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support procurement and implementation of training devices.
