Qualifications

  • Maintaining company infrastructure and commissioning physical hardware.
  • Patching user workstations and company servers, resolving user issues.
  • Assisting with IT policy review and IT helpdesk management.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Systems Administrator within a vibrant technology company based on the outskirts of Frome, Somerset. This is a hybrid role working 2 days per week in the office so you must live within a one hour commute of Frome.

About the role
As a Systems Administrator, you’ll enhance and maintain our client’s infrastructure, whether this be physical or virtual, and assist the internal teams with the resolution of issues that are raised. Main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining company infrastructure
  • Commission physical hardware and cloud-based environments
  • Patching of User workstations and company servers
  • Resolving User issues
  • Assisting with creating and reviewing IT Policy and Procedures
  • Assisting with IT Helpdesk Management and IT Inventory Management

About the hours & rewards
For the role of Systems Administrator, the working hours are 22.5 to 37.5 per week and can work around school hours. The role is to be split between working at home with 2 days per week in the office with all equipment provided and you will receive an excellent salary of £11.77 to £14.00 per hour (c£27,300 per annum, pro rata)
