SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR RESPONSIBILITIES

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Systems Administrator to ensure smooth day‑to‑day technology operations in our UK office. This role is critical in supporting our team with hands‑on IT troubleshooting, managing equipment lifecycle, and improving the systems and ways of working that keep our office running efficiently.

Additionally, this role will supportglobal IT projects, working closely with internation teams to roll out new tools, improve security and compliance, and standardise systems across regions. The Systems Administrator will act as a trusted local point of contact while contributingto initiatives that scale and modernise our global IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, monitor, and maintain hardware, software and network systems to ensure smooth day to day operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues for the UK team, both proactively and reactively.
  • Set up new accounts, workstations, and devices for new starters, providing guidance on effective technology use.
  • Implement access controls, backups, and firewalls while ensuring proper device lifecycle management and secure disposal.
  • Manage hardware stock, peripheral devices, and logistics, ensuring accurate records and timely replacements.
  • Assist with IT projects, upgrades, and workflow improvements to enhance office systems and ways of working.
  • Work with international teams on system rollouts, standardisation, and support for IT tools and platforms.
  • Maintain technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies, and support staff through training and guidance.
SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR REQUIREMENTS
  • Proven experience as a System Administrator.
  • Knowledge of M365 Administration (Exchange Online, Sharepoint, Intune)
  • Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN)and patch management.
  • Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
