Job summary

We Are Swim is seeking friendly Operations Assistants to support venues in delivering a first-class, clean, warm and safe experience for every visit. You will welcome families, engage with parents, ensure swimmers are supported, and uphold the highest hygiene and safety standards.

Your role includes poolside supervision during lessons, clear communication with customers, and collaboration with the team to maintain venue standards.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Commitment to high teaching and safety standards.
• Desirable: Water rescue or lifesaving qualifications (STA Safety Award, L3 Lifeguard or RLSS NRASTC or NPLQ)
• Desirable: First Aid Qualifications and/or experience
• Desirable: Experience working with children in a leisure environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer care, welcoming families and ensuring every swimmer feels supported.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness to ensure a safe, warm site.
• Communicate confidently with customers and resolve queries on-site.
• Be a brand ambassador with passion for its aims and values.
• Support all attendees with first aid where appropriate.
• Provide poolside supervision during lessons
• Assist with setup and breakdown of the operational layout for each lesson delivery
• Attend training and team meetings to stay current and improve.
