Who are we?

Swim Generation was set up in 2012 by Christopher Whitworth to provide private and premium swimming lessons outside of the familiar high-end, member-only health clubs. Since then, we have been teaching families across South West London, Central London and Surrey. Swim Generation has created a brand and community amongst its staff, coaching team and families to create confident, safe and happy swimmers.

If you work at Swim Generation you are the best and you will be teaching amongst the best. Standards are high and we only take on coaches that hit our criteria and share our values. We teach our swimmers in the water to give a personable approach with tailored attention. Demonstrations, a hands-on approach and less reliance on equipment is what makes us different. We encourage independent swimming from an early age. Families choose Swim Generation so that their children can become water safe, quickly. Most of the Swim Generation coaches have competitive swimming backgrounds. Set the standard, show our swimmers how it’s done and make a difference!

We only partner with the luxury venues. Our pools are warm and provide a tranquil space for our swimmers. We ensure that they can learn in a calm and positive environment. We can provide a high-end pool without needing to be a member at a health club. Our parents are able to sit on the side of the pool to really understand what their child is learning but also to receive feedback and an opportunity to speak to their child’s coach. We run a 28-minute lesson with 2‑minutes at the end of each session to feedback.
