Job Description:

The Osteotec Spine Division is searching for a Territory Sales Manager to join their team in the West Midlands. Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, and Derby would be the ideal locations.

Brief Description: The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales in the designated territory in line with company objectives.

With the guidance of the Sales Manager, the Territory Sales Manager manages all elements of the sales cycle, including setting objectives, sales planning, implementing sales activities, reviewing results, and adjusting plans.

The role involves growing Osteotec’s business by directly selling products to customers such as Spine Surgeons, decision-makers in clinical and non-clinical roles, and supporting customer acquisition through technical expertise in the territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote, demonstrate, and sell spine products into NHS and private hospitals
  • Achieve sales results aligning with monthly and annual targets and KPIs
  • Sell and demonstrate medical equipment within theatre and clinical environments
  • Conduct trials and evaluations to drive sales
  • Provide outstanding customer service and support new customer acquisition
  • Develop and implement an effective sales business plan
  • Manage resources and materials, including consignment stock in hospitals
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and decision-makers
  • Organize and conduct training workshops with surgical and theatre staff
  • Report regularly to Sales Managers on sales and market conditions
  • Maintain relationships with key opinion leaders
  • Conduct business ethically and legally
  • Liaise with other company functions to meet sales objectives
  • Spend approximately 80% of time in theatre environments
  • Perform other relevant duties as requested
