Job description

The Osteotec Spine Division is searching for a Territory Sales Manager to join their team in the West Midlands, with Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, and Derby as ideal locations.

Brief Description: The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales in the designated territory in line with company objectives. Under the guidance of the Sales Manager, they manage all elements of the sales cycle, including setting objectives, planning, implementing activities, reviewing results, and adjusting plans.

The role involves growing Osteotec’s business by directly selling products to spine surgeons, clinical and non-clinical decision-makers, and supporting customer acquisition through technical expertise in the territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote, demonstrate, and sell spine products into NHS and private hospitals.
  • Achieve sales results aligned with targets and KPIs.
  • Demonstrate medical equipment within theatre and clinical environments.
  • Conduct trials and evaluations to drive sales.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support customer acquisition.
  • Develop and implement an effective sales business plan.
  • Manage resources and materials, including consignment stock.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and opinion leaders.
  • Organize and conduct training workshops.
  • Report regularly on sales and market activities.
  • Spend approximately 80% of time in theatre environments.
  • Perform other relevant duties as required.

  • Proven experience in sales, account management, and business development.
  • Track record of meeting sales targets within budgets.
  • Medical device sales experience, preferably in spine, orthopaedics, or operating theatre environments.
  • Valid driving license required.
