Job Description:

The Osteotec Spine Division is searching for a Territory Sales Manager to join their team in the West Midlands. Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, and Derby would be the ideal locations.

Brief Description: The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales in the designated territory in line with company objectives. With guidance from the Sales Manager, they manage all elements of the sales cycle, including setting objectives, planning, implementing activities, reviewing results, and adjusting plans accordingly.

The role involves growing Osteotec’s business by directly selling products to customers, including Spine Surgeons, decision makers, and supporting customer acquisition through technical expertise in the territory.

Responsibilities:
  • Promote, demonstrate, and sell spine products into NHS and private hospitals.
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs monthly and annually.
  • Sell & demonstrate medical equipment within theatre and clinical environments.
  • Conduct trials and evaluations in clinical settings to drive sales.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support customer acquisition.
  • Develop and implement a sales business plan.
  • Manage resources, including consignment stock in hospitals.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including surgeons and hospital staff.
  • Organize and conduct training workshops.
  • Report sales activities and market insights regularly.
  • Maintain relationships with opinion leaders.
  • Ensure compliance with ethics and legal standards.
  • Liaise with other company functions to meet sales objectives.
  • Spend approximately 80% of time in theatre environments.
  • Perform any other relevant duties as required.

Requirements include excellent interpersonal skills, assertiveness, ambition, tenacity, organizational skills, adaptability, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Proven sales experience, especially in medical devices related to spine or orthopaedics, is essential. A valid driving license is required as this is a field-based role.
