Job summary

Salutem Care & Education seeks a Quality Assurance & Improvement Manager to lead the QA function for Adult Supported Living services. You will drive compliance, inspection readiness and improvement across multiple sites, while reporting to the Group Head of Quality Assurance, Compliance and Inspection.

The role requires extensive CQC knowledge and travel across England. The successful candidate will own clear deliverables, develop action plans, and mentor managers to embed learning and achieve

Qualifications

• Health and/or social care experience (5+ years)
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and inspection expectations
• Proven Supported Living experience with Reach Standards
• Experience delivering internal QA activities with robust action plans
• Experience leading quality improvement across multiple sites
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong organisational skills and national workload management
• Willingness to travel across England including overnights

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance across Adult Supported Living services using Salutem's assessment framework and annual programme
• Drive inspection readiness with mock inspections, evidence packs, post-inspection action planning
• Support QA and improvement across Residential Care and other adult services as required
• Provide expert advice on CQC and REACH Standards in Supported Living
• Provide structured quality improvement support to progress from compliance to Good/Outstanding
• Coach Registered Managers and leaders on governance, evidence of impact, and learning culture
• Produce high-quality reports with thematic findings, risk escalation, progress tracking
• Use quality intelligence (audits, incidents, complaints, safeguarding, KPIs) to identify themes and embed learning
• Collaborate with Operations, L&D, HR, Safeguarding, PBS, IT to drive improvement
• Act as ambassador for quality across Salutem's adult services
