Job summary

Gold Care Homes is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead to drive quality improvements across its 47 care homes in the UK. The role focuses on developing QA guidelines, preparing for CQC inspections, and implementing improvement plans with regional support.

You will liaise with senior managers, regulators, and care home leaders to ensure compliance and ongoing service excellence. A relevant professional qualification and nursing experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience with quality assurance and service improvement in health/social care.
• Knowledge of National Care Standards and CQC framework.
• Ability to lead multi‑agency quality assurance activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of QA guidelines and annual review plans aligned to CQC model.
• Prepare for external inspections and follow up on outcomes.
• Develop systematic QA approaches across services.
• Produce reports and briefings for senior managers and regional teams.
• Ensure staff registration, qualifications, and QA training.
• Identify risks and implement improvement actions.
