Plus Dane is seeking a Supported Housing Officer to provide housing management and support services to customers experiencing homelessness in a supported environment. The role is on-site at a 10-bed scheme in Macclesfield or Congleton, Cheshire, and aims to help residents achieve stability and move toward independent accommodation.

• Be able to commute to Macclesfield and Congleton; valid UK driving licence.

About the Role:

As a Supported Housing Officer, you’ll provide housing management and support services to customers experiencing homelessness in a supported environment. You’ll help residents gain the stability they need to progress toward independent or more suitable accommodation, while ensuring the scheme is safe, secure, and well-managed.

This role is based on site at our 10 bedded supported accommodation in Macclesfield or Congleton, Cheshire.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing onsite management and supervision of the scheme, including security, maintenance, health & safety, and cleanliness
• Supporting vulnerable people to make informed choices and move towards independence
• Implementing and reviewing support plans with clear outcomes
• Ensuring accurate records and comprehensive inductions for all customers
• Taking prompt action on tenancy issues and anti-social behaviour
• Promoting service user participation and positive community relationships
• Liaising with internal teams and external agencies to maximise support for residents
• Ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, and health & safety standards

What You’ll Bring

Due to the nature of this role, you will need a valid UK driving licence.

This is a permanent role working 35 hours per week. Your main base will be Macclesfield or Congleton, Cheshire.

You’ll be generously rewarded with a competitive salary and a great benefits package, including 35 days’ annual leave, plus bank holidays. This includes a 3-day Christmas closedown between Christmas and New Year and you have the option to buy up to 5 extra days annually.
