Plus Dane is seeking a Supported Housing Officer to provide housing management and support services to customers experiencing homelessness in a supported environment. The role is on-site at a 10-bed scheme in Macclesfield or Congleton, Cheshire, and aims to help residents achieve stability and move toward independent accommodation.

Formación

• Qualifications demonstrating sound literacy and numeracy (e.g., GCSE English & Maths A-C or equivalent).
• Experience working with vulnerable people in supported housing.
• Strong communication, administration, and problem-solving skills.
• Be able to commute to Macclesfield and Congleton; valid UK driving licence.

Responsabilidades

• Providing onsite management and supervision of the scheme, including security, maintenance, health & safety, and cleanliness.
• Supporting vulnerable people to make informed choices and move towards independence.
• Implementing and reviewing support plans with clear outcomes.
• Ensuring accurate records and comprehensive inductions for all customers.
• Taking prompt action on tenancy issues and anti-social behaviour.
• Promoting service user participation and positive community relationships.
• Liaising with internal teams and external agencies to maximise support for residents.
• Ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.
