Job summary

Sovereign Network Group is seeking a Supported Housing Manager-Extra Care to lead a team delivering housing management services across our geography. You will travel to supported schemes and collaborate with local authorities, care providers, and internal teams to ensure compliant, high-quality support.

Based from offices with flexible hybrid working between Wembley and other sites, you will oversee allocations, income, and tenancy management while driving service improvements and data quality.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience leading teams in housing or partnership contexts.
• Experience managing allocations, income and tenancy processes in supported housing is desirable.
• Knowledge of Supported Housing is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality customer-centric housing management services (allocations, income, tenancy management).
• Oversee operational performance across a defined area (health and safety, compliance, finance, customer satisfaction, lettings).
• Build and manage relationships with local authorities and external partners.
• Ensure services are delivered within approved budgets and contractual requirements.
• Lead investigations of complaints and anti-social behaviour; safeguard residents.
• Maintain safe living environments for residents and supervise staff/contractors.

Salary:£42,000.00 - £51,000.00 Per yearWe have a great opportunity for a Supported Housing Manager-Extra Care to join our Specialist Housing Team on a permanent basis.Based from our offices in Greenham, Basingstoke or Wembley , you'll lead our teams across the SNG geography, working flexibly between our offices and home.Due to the dispersed nature of the service you will be expected to on occasion to travel to Hertford, Oxfordshire, West Berkshire and Dorset/Bournemouth.You will be part of a wider Supported Housing Team providing a range of housing management services, including temporary accommodation for adults, young people and families at risk of homelessness, Housing First tenancies, housing for adults and young people with disabilities or mental illness, those experiencing domestic abuse, extra care housing and individual properties for customers with identified support needs.The RoleThis is a rewarding leadership role where you'll inspire and develop a dedicated team, champion customer-focused services, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred support.You'll lead, manage and motivate a team of Supported Housing – Extra Care Officers responsible for providing a range of housing management services to our Extra Care customers, working collaboratively with colleagues across our schemes, our colleagues within SNG and our key external stakeholders including local authority commissioning teams and care providers.You will ensure that our Extra Care housing is managed in line with contractual obligations, taking responsibility for financial performance and lettings while regularly identifying service improvements and maintaining high-quality data.Responsibilities include:Delivery of a consistent high-quality customer-centric support services, such as allocations, income, and tenancy managementThe operational performance for an area of our supported housing, managing key areas such as health and safety, compliance, finance, customer satisfaction, and lettingsPartnership working – building and managing our relationships with a range of local authorities and external partnersEnsuring that services are delivered within approved budgets, in accordance with contractual requirements and within legislative and regulatory frameworks and best practiceLeading on investigation of complaints and cases of anti-social behaviour and safeguarding, ensuring resolutionTaking responsibility for ensuring that we provide our residents with a safe living environment, that staff and contractors are working in a safe fashionWhat you'll needYou should have previous experience in a similar role, either with a background from within housing or experience with partnership working and leading successful teams.
