Nurseplus is seeking a Health Care Assistant for night shifts in Norwich to support a client with a spinal injury. Work involves personal care, moving and handling, nutrition, hydration and continence needs, plus companionship and activities of the client's choice.

Occasional day shifts available, with mandatory meet-and-greet and two shadow shifts before lone working. Candidates must be over 18, have at least 6 months UK care experience, speak good English, and be able to travel within 25

Care & Support Work - Spinal Injury / Residential / 1-1 Support

What You’ll Be Doing:

We are looking for experienced Support Workers/Carers to support one of our regular clients in Norwich.

Our client has full mental capacity and lives with a spinal injury.

Duties may include personal care, moving and handling, supporting with nutrition, hydration and continence needs, as well as spending time with the client and participating in activities of their choice.

Both day and night shifts are available, with shifts lasting 12 hours.

As support is provided within the client's home, successful applicants will be required to attend a meet and greet with the client prior to shifts being assigned, as well as complete two shadow shifts before undertaking lone working duties.

What We’re Looking For

• You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.


• A MINIMUM of 6 months UK care experience


• Flexibility in your availability, with the ability to travel to different care settings.


• A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively.


• A clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.
