Job summary

Nurseplus is seeking experienced Health Care Assistants to support a client in Norwich. You will provide care in the client’s home, including personal care and daily living tasks to maintain comfort and wellbeing.

We offer flexible day and night shifts (12 hours), weekly pay, competitive rates (£12.85–£18.40 per hour), and access to our Workwise app for convenient scheduling. Training and development opportunities are provided to help you grow.

Qualifications

• You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
• Ability to travel to different care settings.
• A good standard of English and effective communication.
• A clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.

Responsibilities

Support & Care Work - Spinal & TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) / Residential / 2-1 Support

What You’ll Be Doing:

We are looking for experienced Support Workers/Carers to support one of our regular clients in Norwich.

Our client has full mental capacity and lives with a spinal injury and traumatic brain injury. They are paraplegic and have epilepsy.

Duties may include personal care, moving and handling, supporting with nutrition, hydration and continence needs, as well as spending time with the client and participating in activities of their choice.

Both day and night shifts are available, with shifts lasting 12 hours.

Applicants must be physically able to meet the demands of the role, including moving and handling tasks. As support is provided within the client’s home, successful applicants will be required to follow specific client preferences to ensure their comfort and wellbeing.
