Keys Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for Bryn Irfon in Llanwrtyd Wells. This full-time role (35 hours per week) requires a Full UK Driving License and flexibility for days, nights, and sleep-in shifts.

You will support adults with learning disabilities, assisting with daily routines, medication, budgeting, and personal care in a residential setting. Join a compassionate team delivering person-centred care, with DBS paid by the employer and opportunities for career development.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day support and routine for adults with learning disabilities.

• Assist with health care needs and accompany to routine appointments or administer medication.
• Teach life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
• Assist with personal care and domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
• Provide guidance and emotional support to service users.

About Bryn Irfon:

At Bryn Irfon we provide residential support for 8 adults with Learning Disabilities, challenging needs and individuals with communication difficulties. We can also support people who may have Mental Health needs. We work with people with varied abilities and needs. We encourage and motivate each person to feel good about themselves. We enable people to gain confidence and do the things that are important to them and ultimately to lead happy and fulfilled lives.

As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including:

• Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
• Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
• Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
• Assisting with personal care as required.
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
• Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
