Keys Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for Bryn Irfon in Llanwrtyd Wells. The role focuses on day-to-day support, independence, and helping adults with learning disabilities and challenging needs live fulfilling lives.

The position requires a full UK driving license and flexibility for days, nights and occasional sleep-in shifts. DBS checks are provided and progression opportunities exist within the organization.

Qualifications

• Full UK Manual Driving License required.
• Flexible working days, nights and sleep-in shifts as needed.
• Must be over 18 due to client needs.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
• Promoting independence and helping individuals live fulfilling lives.
• Supporting development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Maintaining health care needs and accompanying to routine appointments or administering medication.
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
• Assisting with personal care as required.
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
• Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.

About Bryn Irfon

At Bryn Irfon we provide residential support for 8 adults with Learning Disabilities, challenging needs and individuals with communication difficulties. We can also support people who may have Mental Health needs. We work with people with varied abilities and needs. We encourage and motivate each person to feel good about themselves. We enable people to gain confidence and do the things that are important to them and ultimately to lead happy and fulfilled lives.

As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including:

• Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
• Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
• Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
• Assisting with personal care as required.
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
• Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
