Job summary

Leonard Cheshire in Penzance is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help disabled adults live life on their own terms. The role involves daily living support, accompanying to appointments, and maintaining records in a residential setting.

We offer full-time or part-time hours on a rota from 8.00am to 8.00pm, with weekend work expected. No care experience? We’ll provide comprehensive training and development opportunities.

On the stunning Cornish coast, St Teresa’s provides personalised support for up to 27 disabled adults. Overlooking Mount’s Bay, our home is surrounded by beautiful views of Newlyn and Penzance. Shops, restaurants, cafes, a cinema and a theatre are all nearby. We’re also a short walk from the historic town of Marazion, with its clean and sandy beaches.

Your working hours

We offer both full-time and part-time hours, working between 8.00am - 8.00pm on a rota basis.

You’ll need to be flexible to work across weekdays and weekends as part of a rota.

Enhanced pay: £1.00 per hour will only apply to night working (8pm Monday to 7am Friday) and weekend working (8pm Friday to 7am Monday). This does not apply to Sleep-Ins.
