Job summary

Leonard Cheshire is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join Sobell Lodge in Staplehurst, Kent. You will help adults with physical disabilities live life their way, assisting with daily living tasks, personal care, meals and medication.

We offer full-time, 35-hour weeks with shifts that include early mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends on a rota. No previous care experience is required as full training is provided, and you will join a supportive team that values independence and

Sobell Lodge is a specialist care facility providing support for adults with physical disabilities, complex needs, and sensory impairments, including those who are blind or non-verbal. Nestled in a quiet village in Kent, Sobell Lodge offers a peaceful environment with access to local shops. The serene surroundings provide a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, away from busy city life.

Your working hours

We offer full time hours, at 35 hours per week. Shifts include the following: 7am - 1pm, 1pm - 7pm, 4pm - 10pm and 7am - 7pm. Shifts will include working weekends on a rota basis.

Enhanced pay: £1.00 per hour will only apply to night working (8pm Monday to 7am Friday) and weekend working (8pm Friday to 7am Monday). This does not apply to Sleep-Ins.
