Job summary

Walsingham Support is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist adults with learning disabilities in living life their way. You’ll deliver person-centred care, participate in daily activities, and help individuals build independence within a supportive team.

No prior care experience is required; full training is provided and ongoing support is offered to help you grow in your role. Join a national charity committed to putting people first.

About the Service and Rota Details:

We are a supported living service supporting four individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives within their home and local community.

As part of our dedicated support team, you will play an important role in providing person-centred support that promotes choice, dignity, independence and wellbeing. You will work alongside colleagues to ensure the people we support receive consistent, high-quality care, while also being confident in using your own initiative and responding to individual needs.

We are looking for individuals who are compassionate, reliable and enthusiastic about making a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we support.

If you are passionate about supporting people to achieve their goals, enjoy working as part of a team, and can also use your own initiative, we would love to hear from you.

Sleep-in shifts typically begin at 10:00pm and finish at 7:00am.

The role involves working a variety of shifts, including early shifts, late shifts and sleep-in shifts, as well as every other weekend, subject to the rota.
