Job summary

Kisimul Group is seeking a Residential Support Worker to join the Adult Services team at An Caladh House. The role focuses on supporting young adults with complex needs in a residential setting, providing care, companionship and practical assistance.

The role involves safeguarding, coordinating activities, maintaining records and collaborating with staff to meet individual needs and promote the individuals’ potential within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting young adults with complex needs.
• Ability to work as part of a team and maintain dignity and respect for service users.
• Willingness to participate in a range of activities and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Working with the staff team across all levels to safeguard our young adults at all times.
• Participating in a wide range of innovative and exciting recreational events held within the home and wider community.
• Assisting with practical tasks relating to care. For example, cooking and cleaning.
• Creating positive relationships with the young adults, maintaining dignity and respect at all times.
• Meeting the physical, emotional, behavioural and cultural needs of the young adults.
• Continually maintaining accurate and clear record keeping.
• Ensuring that the needs of the young adults are being met and regularly reviewing and recording any changes to their needs.
• Actively contributing to the development of the team.

We are recruiting for Residential Support Workers to join our staff team.

We are looking for dedicated Support Workers and ambitious individuals who can offer complete commitment to supporting our young adults to fulfil their potential.
