Keys Care, part of Keys Group, is hiring a Support Worker in Barry (CF62 6RA). You will provide day-to-day support to adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs, helping with routines, personal care, budgeting and community activities.
No prior care experience is required as full training, induction and ongoing coaching are provided. DBS check is paid by the employer, with 5.6 weeks’ annual leave, a Nest pension, and opportunities for QCF qualifications.
Package Description JOB ROLE: Support Worker LOCATION: Barry CF62 6RA SALARY: £13.45 - £14.15* per hour HOURS: 35 hours per week, Day and Wake Night position available
As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including: Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
Assisting with personal care as required.
Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching and development.
