Job summary

Bay View Lodge, operated by Keys Group, is seeking a Support Worker to assist adults with learning disabilities and autism. You will support day-to-day routines, encourage independence, and help develop life skills in a person-centred setting across flexible shifts.

You will accompany health appointments, assist with personal care and domestic tasks, and promote wellbeing through hobbies and activities. DBS paid and induction provided on join.

Qualifications

  • Must hold UK Driving licence.
  • Flexible working days and nights, as and when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
  • Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
  • Supporting and encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
  • Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying to routine appointments or administering medication.
  • Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
  • Assisting with personal care as required.
  • Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
  • Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
