Keys Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for Bay View Lodge in Barry and Rhoose (CF62). You will provide person-centred, flexible support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism, helping them gain independence and lead meaningful lives.
Responsibilities include day-to-day support, encouraging independence, assisting with personal care, medications, budgeting, and shopping, with shift patterns across early to late hours. UK Driving licence required.
Package Description JOB ROLE: Support Worker LOCATION: Barry, Rhoose, CF62 SALARY: £14.05 - £14.75* per hour HOURS: 35 hours per week SHIFT PATTERNS: 7:30am - 8:00pm, 8:30am - 9:00pm, 9:30am - 10:00pm, 8:00pm - 7:30am REQUIREMENTS: Must hold UK Driving licence Flexible working days and nights, as and when needed.

As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including: Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
Assisting with personal care as required.
Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
