Job summary

Active Care Group is recruiting a Female Support Worker (Kingly Croft, Hinckley) to assist residents with personal care and daily living activities. This role operates on a rota basis, including every other weekend, and emphasizes compassionate, person-centred support.

You will work as part of a dedicated team to enable independence and quality of life, with a genuine occupational requirement for a Female Support Worker.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or willingness to learn.
• Flexible working and reliable attendance.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care needs including washing, dressing, toileting and nutrition.
• Provide high quality, individualised care to residents.
• Collaborate with the care team and report issues to management.
• Build open, two-way relationships with residents and support communication.

We'd like you to join us as a Support Worker (Female Only) at our service Kingly Croft in Hinckley.

Please note we are recruiting a Female Support Worker due to a genuine occupational requirement of the person we support therefore this role is exempt from the Equality Act 2010 Part Schedule 9

What you'll be working:

• On a rota basis
• Working every other weekend
• Female Support worker
• £29,849.78 (FTE) Per Annum Pro rata

What you'll be doing:

• Support our residents with all their personal care needs which include washing, dressing., toileting. and nutritional needs.
• providing high quality individualised care to our residents
• Work and act as a key member of the team, supporting each resident .
• Build relationships with residents, which are open and two way
• Establish methods of communication with residents, reducing barriers when necessary
• Communicate any issues to the management
• Accurately report and/or record work activities
