Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a Rehabilitation Support Worker for Kingly House in Hinckley. You will support adults with personal care, daily living tasks and rehabilitation activities on a rota that includes waking nights when required.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care needs including washing, dressing, toileting, and nutritional support.
• Work as a key member of the team to support each resident.
• Build relationships with residents that are open and two-way.
• Establish effective communication with residents and reduce barriers.
• Report issues to management and maintain accurate records of activities.

Kingly House is a residential house in Leicestershire providing accommodation, rehabilitation and support for up to 17 adults. We're committed to helping every person we support feel safe, happy, empowered enabling them to live the best life possible.

Please note we are recruiting a Female Support Worker due to a genuine occupational requirement of the person we support therefore this role is exempt from the Equality Act 2010 Part Schedule 9.

What you'll be working

On a rota basis Working every other weekend £29,849.78(FTE) Per Annum Pro rata Waking Nights

What you'll be doing

• Support our residents with all their personal care needs which include washing, dressing., toileting. and nutritional needs. providing high quality individualised care to our residents
• Work and act as a key member of the team, supporting each resident .
• Build relationships with residents, which are open and two way
• Establish methods of communication with residents, reducing barriers when necessary
• Communicate any issues to the management
• Accurately report and/or record work activities
