Job summary

Positive Futures is seeking a compassionate Support Worker in Northern Ireland to help people with learning disabilities, brain injuries or autism live independently with real choice and control. No formal qualifications are required; training is provided, including paid induction and support to obtain NISCC registration.

You’ll support daily living, personal care, finances and community activities while safeguarding dignity and rights. Record keeping and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• You have experience providing care or support for someone.
• Basic digital skills to record notes and use care systems.

Responsibilities

• Form a positive relationship with the person you support while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Help them look after their home, manage their money and medication.
• Support them to stay safe and healthy and access their community activities.
• Accurate record keeping (incidents, risk assessments, logs) using digital systems.
