Job summary

Positive Futures is seeking a Senior Support Worker to deliver high-quality, person-centred care for people with learning disabilities, acquired brain injury or autism in Northern Ireland. You will mentor staff and lead on care planning and reviews, while promoting best practices in support.

You will also coach colleagues, manage incident documentation, and ensure health and safety within the service, bringing hands-on leadership to a values-driven team.

Qualifications

• 6+ months paid experience in health and social care or community setting.
• Experience leading a shift or acting as a key worker, including supervising colleagues.
• Basic digital skills to record notes and use rota or care systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred support to people in care.
• Lead reviews with service users, families and staff.
• Supervise staff and chair/participate in meetings; manage records and safety.
