Positive Futures is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help people with a learning disability, acquired brain injury or autism live independently and exercise real choice. You don't need formal qualifications or experience; kindness, patience and reliability matter most, and we'll support your NISCC registration.

As part of a caring team, you’ll assist with daily living, personal care, budgeting, medication and community activities, always upholding dignity and respect and encouraging

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications or experience required.
• Kind, patient and reliable qualities preferred.
• NISCC registration is provided/covered.

Responsibilities

• Form positive relationships with the person while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Help with daily living, home, finances, and medication management.
• Support independence and help access GP, social worker or advocate when needed.
• Ensure safety, dignity and respect, and help people stay connected in the community.
• Accurate record keeping using digital systems.
