Job summary

Positive Futures is seeking a Support Worker to help people with a learning disability, acquired brain injury or autism live independently and have real choice and control.

No formal qualifications or experience are required; if you're kind, patient and reliable, we'll teach you the rest and cover your NISCC registration.

You'll support with daily living, finances and medication, help people engage with their communities, and always treat them with dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications or experience required.
• Kindness, patience and a sense of fun.
• NISCC registration will be covered.

Responsibilities

• Form a positive relationship with the person you support while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Help with home, money and medication as independently as possible, and connect with other services when needed.
• Keep people safe and healthy, provide personal care where needed, and support community involvement.
• Accurate record keeping (incidents, risk assessments, communication logs) using our digital systems.
