Job summary

Positive Futures in Northern Ireland is looking for a Support Worker to help people with learning disabilities, brain injury or autism live independently and make real life choices. No formal qualifications needed; kindness and reliability are valued, and training will be provided including NISCC registration.

You will support daily living, personal care, finances and community involvement, while upholding dignity and self-advocacy. Join a team that cares deeply about growth and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Personal or work experience of providing care or support for someone
• Basic digital skills e.g. to record notes and use rota, HR or care systems.

Responsibilities

• Form a positive relationship with the person you support and maintain professional boundaries.
• Help with home management, money and medication where independence is possible.
• Support individuals to stay safe, healthy, and connected with their community, including advocacy when needed.
