Job summary

P3 Charity (People Potential Possibilities) Swadlincote is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our hostel-based team delivering housing-related support to adults experiencing homelessness. You will be a key worker, building trusted relationships, developing person-centred plans, conducting risk assessments, and helping residents access local services and sustain their tenancies.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle, and participation in a rota including

Responsibilities

  • Provide housing-related support to adults experiencing homelessness.
  • Build trusting relationships and promote independence to sustain tenancies.
  • Create and review person-centred support plans and complete risk assessments.
  • Help residents access local services and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and partner agencies to deliver coordinated support.
  • Participate in a rota including evenings, nights, weekends, bank holidays, and short-notice cover.

Shift Pattern: Elective rota, shifts are between the hours of 7:15 and 21:30

We are seeking passionate, committed, and compassionate individuals to join our team delivering high-quality Intensive Housing Management support within our hostel services in Swadlincote.

As a Support Worker, you will provide housing-related support to adults experiencing homelessness, helping individuals to achieve stability, develop independence, and move towards positive long-term outcomes.

Working as a key worker, you will build trusting relationships with the people you work alongside, promoting independence, and supporting individuals to develop the skills, confidence, and resilience needed to sustain their tenancies and achieve their goals. You will create and review person-centred support plans, complete risk assessments, manage tenancy-related needs, and help residents access local services and opportunities.

Working in a hostel environment, you will collaborate with colleagues and partner agencies to deliver coordinated, effective support. We are looking for flexible, adaptable individuals who are committed to supporting people experiencing homelessness. The role requires participation in a rota, including evenings, nights, weekends, bank holidays, and occasional short-notice cover. If you are passionate about helping people achieve independence and stability, we would love to hear from you.
