Job summary

Turning Point in Bedworth, England, is looking for a caring Support Worker to support adults with learning disabilities in a 24-hour service. You will assist with daily living, personal care, mobility, meals and activities, with full training provided.

Shifts include early mornings, evenings, nights and weekends, reflecting our round-the-clock service. We value compassion, flexibility and teamwork; no prior experience is required as comprehensive training is offered.

Qualifications

• No experience is necessary; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Promoting the independence of people we support.
• Supporting a full range of daily activities including cleaning and cooking, days out or holidays.
• Arranging activities in the home and local community.
• Developing residents' life skills and personal interests.
• Helping residents stay safe and healthy and assisting with personal care needs.
• Manual handling and supporting people with medication as required.
• Maintaining records to required standards and supporting service monitoring.
