Turning Point UK in Bulkington seeks a dedicated Support Worker to assist adults with learning disabilities in a 24-hour residential service. You will help with daily tasks, activities, personal care and medication support, with a strong focus on safety and person-centred care.

The role offers flexible shifts, driving is required, and training and career progression are provided within a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving lives.

Formación

• Passionate, caring and enthusiastic.
• Flexible, patient and non-judgemental.
• Great team player with lots of energy.
• Able to demonstrate good communication skills.
• Able to complete the physical aspects of the role such as manual handling where needed.
• Transferable experience of helping people to manage anxiety.

Responsabilidades

• Promote the independence of people we support.
• Support a full range of daily activities including cleaning and cooking, days out or holidays.
• Arrange activities in the home and in the local community.
• Develop residents' life skills and personal interests.
• Help residents stay safe and healthy.
• Assist with personal care needs.
• Manual handling.
• Support people with medication.
• Ensure record keeping is maintained and contribute to service monitoring.
