Job summary

Turning Point is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to help adults with learning disabilities in Thornton, England. The role involves hands-on care across a 24-hour service and varied shift patterns, including mornings, evenings, nights and weekends.

You will provide daily living support, help residents participate in activities, and work within a supportive team to promote independence and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Desirable: experience in care or supported living.
• High levels of personal care involved.
• Desirable: experience working with adults with learning disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care needs.
• Prepare meals with involvement from residents.
• Support with meals and hydration.
• Perform manual handling as needed.
• Assist with medications including creams and lotions.
