Job summary

Turning Point in Wolverhampton is seeking a Support Worker to join the Learning Disabilities team in a 24-hour supported living service for five adults with learning disabilities and health needs. You will help residents build daily living skills through activities, shopping, budgeting and cooking, with a person-centred approach to promote independence.

• Flexibility to work a 24-hour service across rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Build residents' daily living skills.
• Support residents with activities, budgeting and cooking.
• Support each person to be as independent as possible, in a person-centred way.
• Work a range of shifts, including early, late, sleep-ins and waking nights.
• Work some weekends.
• Help create positive family relationships and a good circle of support for residents.
