Job description

Radis Community Care is looking for a Full-Time Support Worker to join our team based at Freeman Court in Chelmsford.

You must be flexible to work during the week and on alternative weekends!

30-40 hours per week, with overtime and sickness cover.

At this time, we are unable to consider sponsorship for this role.

About the role

As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme, you will primarily support elderly residents who are experiencing difficulty coping due to physical frailty, helping them maintain independence. Responsibilities include assisting residents with mobility, supporting them in communal areas, and respecting their privacy in their bedrooms upon request.

The role involves helping residents with personal care activities such as washing, hygiene, and dressing. You will also engage residents in physical and mental activities, including recreational and social events, either individually or in groups.

The aim is to promote residents' independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering high standards of care.
