Job description

Radis Community Care is seeking a Full-Time Support Worker to join our team based at Freeman Court in Chelmsford.

You must be flexible to work during the week and on alternative weekends!

The position offers 30-40 hours per week, with additional overtime and sickness cover.

Note: Currently, we are unable to consider sponsorship for this role.

About the Role

As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme, you will primarily support elderly residents who find it challenging to cope due to physical frailty, helping them maintain independence. Your duties include assisting residents with mobility to access dining and communal areas, as well as their bedrooms upon request.

You will help residents with personal care activities such as washing, hygiene, and dressing. Additionally, you will engage in physical and mental stimulation through recreational and social activities, both individually and in groups.

The role focuses on promoting residents' independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering high standards of care.
