Job summary

Positive Futures in the United Kingdom is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to empower young adults to live independently and with choice. You will form positive relationships, support daily living skills and personal care, and help people engage with their communities and services.

Flexible hours are available including part-time or full-time roles. A full paid induction is provided, and the team supports your development and NIISC registration where needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience providing paid or voluntary care or support.
• Full, valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Form positive relationships with the person you support and maintain professional boundaries.
• Help with daily living tasks and personal care to support independence.
• Encourage participation in the community and access to services.
• Keep accurate records using our digital systems (incidents, risk assessments, logs).
• Serve as a role model and support new staff and volunteers.
